"We were absolutely delighted to be awarded the works to renew the existing area. We were working closely in a joint effort with the APFA committee in the design and installation stages. The new play area is fabulous! Catering for all ages and abilities, it is truly an outstanding play area for all."
Slides, swings, climbing walls, an accessible playground set, a cableway, and many other attractions wait for the local community on the refurbished playground:
Ian Chisholm, the spokesperson for the APFA, commented:
"Working closely with Lars Laj UK we are delighted with the outcome. The community waited patiently for the play area to be completed. Over the summer holidays the play equipment has been put to good use."
To refurbish the play area Lars Laj UK used a variety of playground equipment, i.e.:
- Twister - the multifunctional play set with a slide,
- Campanille - the wheelchair accessible castle play set,
- a wooden cableway,
- educational playground equipment, such as Tube Bells and Abacus,
- larch wooden swings for toddlers,
- tunnels and a wooden climbing wall for obstacle course,
- outdoor fitness equipment: balance, bars, and pull bars.
