Bishop Gilpin Church of England Primary School recently opened their new Fitness area for the children. The New Age Fitness equipment was supplied and fitted with rubber bonded mulch safety surfacing by Lars Laj UK. The project started in 2018 with completion in February 2019.
The school completed the project in conjunction with Lars Laj UK supplying and installing the fitness equipment, Wilby & Burnett managing the overall contract and Southwark Diocesan Board of Education assisting in funding.
Dany Carabus, the Site manager of the school who assisted with all parts of the project stated: It was quite a long period from start to finish, but with the assistance from all parties, we completed the project.
The Head and PE teacher are really impressed with the fitness equipment and the children have been excited for a while to start using it. The school takes sport and fitness very seriously. This fitness equipment definitely fits the bill and the children love it.
