MYTH 1
❌Wooden playgrounds are not durable.
✅ Just like steel playgrounds, wooden playgrounds guarantee long-term durability!
The lifespan of the play equipment depends primarily on the following factors.
1. Type of wood. We mainly use larch and Robinia wood for manufacturing our playgrounds for public spaces. Larch and Robinia are one of the most durable wood species. Unlike pine, larch and robinia structures are highly resistant to moisture, changing weather conditions, fungal attacks, pests, rotting, and decay.

Larch is commonly used in the production of platforms, yachts, and boats. Robinia (or pseudoaccacia) is excellent for manufacturing poles, masts, mining structures, and construction.
2. Proper impregnation, that additionally protects the wood.
3. Protection of the areas which are particularly prone to corrosion (mainly upper and lower parts of the wooden posts). Our playgrounds have the upper parts of their vertical posts covered, which protects them against water penetration. To isolate the structure from the ground, the posts are placed on foundations that are installed 3 cm above ground level.
4. Certificates and attests. We certify our playgrounds in accordance with the European standard EN 1176 to ensure maximum safety for young users.
5. Wood's structural durability is 15 years. If the playground is serviced every year, our equipment remains in a very good condition for up to 15-20 years.

In heavily salted coastal areas, playgrounds made of Robinia wood prove to be the best choice. In such conditions, even stainless steel has to take a back seat to Robinia.
MYTH 2
❌Wooden playgrounds are expensive to maintain.
It may seem that maintaining wooden play equipment requires more effort and costs in comparison to metal and plastic. In fact regular impregnation and maintenance only need to be done once a year.
Moreover, Robinia play equipment do not require regular maintenance. This species of wood will thrive on its own in natural conditions. By the way, let's not forget that metal playgrounds also require maintenance, especially when rust appears on them.
✅ The cost of maintaining a wooden playground is compensated by its price, high quality, natural character, and the user's comfort.

❌Wooden playgrounds are not environmentally friendly.
✅ Wood is a natural material. We use only non-toxic and child-safe substances for its impregnation.
Consumer awareness is increasing nowadays. People pay attention to the quality and origin of products. They want to know before buying whether the products are natural and environmentally friendly. For many years, we have been using only wood from sustainable sources to produce our certified playgrounds.

MYTH 5
❌Wooden playgrounds are perfect for gardens or parks, but their classic design does not fit in with the modern urban surrounding.
