Lynton Toddlers committee raised funds to revamp the area for the under-fives and toddlers.

A spokesperson for the committee said:

"It has been a long haul. We felt there was nothing for the under-fives. With Lars Laj UK help we came up with a design to facilitate the younger children. We are overjoyed with the new play equipment."

The Play area now consist of Swings for juniors and swings for baby’s (11180). There is a Small Ship play unit (11423) with climbing, sliding and magical role play for the young ones. Also a new Springer (11258) and a Merry go round (11304). All the play equipment has been put on Rubber EPDM wet pour safer surfacing.
